To give a sense of what Hank is,
we present examples of
the kinds of activities Hank supports:
-
Experiments with new behavior models for drivers, pedestrians,
traffic lights, and other entities by extending pre-defined
behaviors or defining completely new behaviors using a high-level
programming language designed for programming complex,
reactive behaviors.
-
Development of new physical models for simulation entities by changing the
appearance, degrees of freedom, or underlying dynamic models
of objects.
-
Creating driving scenarios by writing high-level programs that
coordinate entity behaviors on-line during simulations.
-
Designing road database models by modifying existing road databases
or defining entirely new scenes.
