Google Developer Group (GDG) Bronx

The Bronx Google Development Group is hosting a Machine Learning workshop followed by a panel for moving forward in CS.

Part 1 - (Workshop): Introduction to machine learning - Training and developing Generative Adversarial Networks (GANS) by Jamil Gafur

Over the past decade, the usage of neural networks has permeated throughout numerous disciplines of science. Find out some basic tools on how to get started with programming Neural Networks using Tensorflow. Once we build up a general understanding of Neural Networks, activation functions, and the different types of layers we will move over to learning how to build a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) to generate new images!

Part 2 (Panel): Career Choices in Computer Science: How to make the right mistakes?

We have invited skilled professionals who have experienced both the Academic and the Corporate Worlds of Tech first hand. Our panelists will share behind the scenes details and provide insight on what to expect in the World of Tech. They will provide insight so others can learn what to expect and what may be expected of them as they prepare for the future ahead.
