Advanced Placement Credit Policy

Computer Science A — Students achieving test scores of 4 or 5 are given 4 s.h. and credit for CS:1210 Computer Science I: Fundamentals and CS:2110 Programming for Informatics. This credit may be applied toward General Education Program: Quantitative or Formal Reasoning hours; or to requirements for the Computer Science or Informatics major or minor; or used as elective hours.

Computer Science Principles — Students achieving a test score of 5 are given 3 s.h. and credit for CS:1110 Introduction to Computer Science. This credit may be applied toward General Education Program: Quantitative or Formal Reasoning hours; or to requirements for the Informatics major or minor; or used as elective hours.
