The Department of Computer Science at Iowa seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time.

The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on departmental teaching needs. The full list of classes offered by the CS department can be found here. A successful candidate must hold an MS or PhD in CS or a related field and have either industry experience related to the course material and/or previous teaching experience. Responsibilities include delivering course material, creating relevant material, maintaining office hours and helping students to achieve learning goals.
