Abby Baccam (she/her/hers) is an academic advisor for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and works with Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, and Statistics students.  

Abby earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Iowa in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree at the University of Iowa in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies. Aside from advising, Abby’s background includes experiences in student organizations and campus involvement as well as residence life. Abby likes to focus on meeting students where they are in their academic journey, learning about students’ academic, professional, and personal interests and goals, and offering an open and collaborative environment. 

Abby likes to spend her free time thrifting, reading (all book recommendations are welcome!), and spending time at state and national parks.
