Biography

Erik Krohn is a Professor of Instruction in Computer Science at the University of Iowa. He has been a professor and the Academic Director for the Masters in Data Science program in the Computer Science Department at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Iowa under the guidance of Professor Kasturi Varadarajan. His primary research interests lie in computational geometry, particularly in art gallery and terrain guarding problems. He is also interested in other algorithmic areas, compilers, and programming languages.
