In Memoriam: Harriet Weeg (1927–2025)

Tuesday, February 25, 2025
Mrs. Weeg was the widow of our founding chairperson, Gerard Weeg, who passed away in 1977. The Weeg name is familiar to many alumnae/i for the Gerard P. Weeg Computing Center [A precursor to Information Technology Services (ITS)]. To Computer Science Department constituents, the name may invoke the decades-long support that Mrs. Weeg, her family, and fellow benefactors have offered students via the Gerard P. Weeg Scholarship.
