Beschen Receives Academic Excellence in the Masters Program Award

Robert Lorch and Abdal Mohamed, both due to graduate this May 2022, was chosen to receive an award for “Academic Excellence in the Masters Program” for 2021-22. This honor recognizes academic prowess, the variety and difficulty of courses taken along the way, as well as instructor feedback.

Nithyanand et al.: Beyond the FTC Recap

Leading privacy law and computer science scholars met March 31-April 1, 2023 at the Harvard Law School to identify and propose solutions to the challenges that inhibit the enforcement of privacy rights in the United States in “Beyond the FTC: The Future of Privacy Enforcement”.

The interdisciplinary symposium was organized by Professor Mihailis Diamantis (University of Iowa College of Law) and Professor Rishab Nithyanand (University of Iowa Department of Computer Science).
