MacLean Hall
MacLean Hall (above), located on the Pentacrest, is a five-floor building where our department currently has offices, classes, colloquia, and seminars. Most of our faculty have offices here. A majority of our research labs are also located in MacLean Hall.
Moving in 2027 to the
Iowa Advanced Technology Laboratories (IATL)
The University received Board of Regents approval and awarded a construction bid on a new addition to the IATL facility (below). The addition and remodeled space will be the future home of the UIowa Department of Computer Science. Work has begun with an expected move-in date by Fall of 2027.
