A paper presented at the CBMS 2013 annual meeting (Computer-Based Medical Systems), taking place June 20-22 in Portugal, has been honored with the Best Student Paper Award. The paper, "AudioSense: Enabling Real-time Evaluation of Hearing Aid Technology In-Situ," is authored by Syed Shabih Hasan, Farley Lai (both Computer Science doctoral students), Octav Chipara (Computer Science faculty member), and Yu-Hsiang Wu (Communication Sciences & Disorders faculty member).
