A Pomerantz Career Center survey of recent UI CS and Informatics graduates - Fall 2013, Spring 2014, and Summer 2014 - underscores the excellent career prospects our students currently enjoy. Survey responses gathered within 6 months of graduation indicate that 97.4% of CS graduates (61% response rate) and that 90.5% of Informatics graduates (64% response rate) were placed or no longer seeking employment. Average starting salaries were $59,000 for CS majors (minimum $40,000, maximum $85,000) and $37,440 for Informatics majors (minimum $20,800, maximum $47,000).
